Rallycross Europa

Posted in the GrassRootsMotorsports forum: this car competed in the $2000 Challenge, I believe it has aToyota V6 in it ….

“So I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical when the buyer told me his plans for the Europa. But no less than 72 hours after it left, he was asking me how many bolts hold the body on. He's been at work preparing for a national rallycross championship campaign in MR class (modified rear drive). He previously won the national SCCA title in MA (modified AWD) with his LS swapped GMC Typhoon, and eventually wants to win all 9 classes. So he sought out a lightweight, powerful, RWD car that could dethrone the famous "Porscharu" 914. And he thinks the 2GR V6 Europa might be the ticket...

So far it's been to a couple local rallycrosses, and he's dialing it in. Can't wait to see how it does later this fall at nationals!”
The more I do the more I find I need to do....remember your ABC’s …anything but chinesium!

That's certainly not the kind of event one would expect to see a Europa competing in!!
