That might be the cleanest looking Lotus Eleven I've seen.

The S1 caught my eye with the s2 windows. The owner said they were original to that series.
The eleven beautiful and is a dwarf to the Europa.

It's an S1A and those windows are indeed original to it. This very car is featured in the following video:

Great video and pics! Makes me remember back about 10 or so years ago when a very early S2 popped up for sale on CL, in NC, about a 4 hour drive from me. BDA may  remember the ad. There were extra parts galore, and the car had the S1 door latch features, with electric windows, if memory serves. The owner owned also had a 11 in the garage. I'm still kicking myself...

Looks like alloy inlet manifolds for twin DCOE's on the wedge engine.
Wonder where they came from.

Hello Gavin,
I believe that the owner may have made his own set?
(I was lucky enough to find an inlet manifold for twin Weber carbs made by another Europa owner/racer)

Hi, LF,
Yes, he may have made them.
I just looked again and still can't be sure.

When I first saw the video, the manifolds seemed to be alloy colour. That usually means they were cast as distinct from fabricated. It's more usual for people to fabricate manifolds in steel because it's easier and doesn't require any flash welding kit. Perhaps they're just painted silver.

All this is to say that if they were cast, someone has made a pattern/mould and it may still be around somewhere.
I've no personal interest but Serge and others do.

Are yours fabricated or cast?

Hi Gavin,

the inlet is cast aluminium.
I believe that there were approximately half a dozen made, they use twin 40 DCNF
