365 Trans shift linkage repair
« on: Thursday,November 17, 2022, 05:47:47 AM »
Good morning,
I gained a lot of knowledge from all of you on the board and used it to fix my shift linkage which wouldn't engage 5th.  I thought it might be helpful to post my experience in solving the issue.  If it saves someone some time and effort that's great!

Well written.   Perhaps this should be moved to the Technical Articles and DIY forum.

 :I-agree:

I noticed that you only have one screw holding the detent housing. I would think that if it were to shift you might have trouble finding 5th again.

Thanks guys.  The open screw hole in the detent housing is for the cover to be put back on.  Two nuts/bolts in the back.

Right! It's been a long time since I had a 365.
