I don't know if that's a true story or not but that is probably the most beautiful S2 I've ever seen! Congratulations, Joji!

Thanks BDA for the compliment but the car as it now exists is due to the efforts of the second owner. My job is to maintain it in it's present condition.

You have to admit though that StephenH's gorgeous green S2 is also up there. It's really a funny thing but I use to be a twink guy in terms of body style but after seeing how a S2 looks with it's front end lowered properly, I've swapped camps completely and think that a S2 with the uncut sail  and all hunkered down looks so right.

I can go both ways on the sails. Many years ago, I remember lamenting that my car didn't have more of a fast back look, but then, that is how the S2 looks. My preference is for the cut out sails of the TC, though (who wouldn't like a miniature El Camino?). I do wish I could get the nose down a little more on mine, though.

Of course I agree whole heatedly with you about StephenH's car. Lots of VERY pretty Europas around!

I agree on that Joji, I am now Twinker, but used to have an S2, but sold her to a Japanese expat who worked in Thailand, I still regret and want another S1 or S2 or Type47 till now :headbanger:

BDA car looks like a Japanese Style Europa to me, especially the gold trim decal and the wheel as in Kyosho die-cast model, I love it!! :beerchug:

P.S. I love both body line anyway  :beerchug:

1967, Type 46, #0384. = 1967 S1A, 460384, original color Cirrus White. It was restored and painted to lagoon blue many years ago. Purchased the car on March 11, 2015. Rescued it from sitting in the field since 1992 (23 years). To restore or part it out? That is the question.
