'74 Europa TCS 5spd on eBay Asking $34.5K Fixed Price

I'll just say the paint is a matter of individual taste - at least its not plastered with dozens of stickers. Has original alloy wheels. Probably built around March 1974.
Plenty of exterior pics, but none of interior, front compartment, engine compartment, suspension, or underneath. Instead, tons of ad man verbiage if you like reading.

For that price I would not accept cheaping out on the bumpers.
Going to need $1,400 more to chrome them.

Seems like a decent car. The paint doesn't bother me, but almost all of the other personal touches are not at all to my taste. The worst offense is all of the blacked-out chrome trim. That just screams cheap flip, to me. Nothing makes a nice car look cheap & cheesy more so than unceremoniously blacked-out trim. The ad text is also a huge turn-off; lots of poetry, but nothing useful about the car. It may be a nice car, but the price seems quite steep.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

I think it's a pretty nice car. Somebody (the PO?) took some care on it. I don't think the gunmetal instead of chrome is bad but it's a personal choice. Before I built my car, I had considered blacking out all the chrome since that was popular for a while but I'm glad I didn't and had my bumpers re-chromed. I don't mind the gunmetal on the wheels but I would want to polish the ribs and the rims. The paint scheme will probably leave some a bit cold and make it a bit harder to sell. I'm a big fan of the wood dash so his dash doesn't do anything for me but I don't think it's terrible. One thing it needs is a closing plate!

I think in general the further away from stock you go (with some caveats), you run the risk of alienating some potential buyers. I think the price is a bit high. Maybe closer to $30,000 - maybe even less - but I am nobody's car appraiser.
