You need to make the base eccentric with a pivoting fulcrum. I'll send you some pics of such an object.

I do have a door mostly mounted but not tight or adjusted.
It really is a two man operation. Particularly if protecting good paint.
I did confirm that this may be done without cutting new access holes into the inner sill.
Cutting a lower access hole would make it simpler but it really is not too bad using the openings at the rear of the wheel well.
I will use slightly shorter bolts in the future.
The bolts are inserted from the door.
Lower nut may be tightened from the original hinge access point.
Top nut is not hard to reach from the wheel well.
Painters tape helps to hold shim washers in place while juggling the bits.
I may get slotted washers to make height adjustment easier.
The system provides a lot of adjustment, more than will ever be used.
I need to find a helper so that I may do a documented installation.

Wheel arch pics, not the best camera.

I have a door hung but not fully adjusted.
Today was an emergency repair to the DD.
I am going to see about getting some help to finish the door.

Been busy and it is COLD in the shop.
Cannot get a second pair of hands, maybe some paint sticks and tape to hold the door in place?
I do hope to get it done over the weekend.

Hachille has no issue with my giving him credit for the idea, so I guess it will be the Hachille conversion.
Hmm, I did have to create the adapters, maybe the HachMan conversion?

I made another attempt at fitting a door today.
Nope, a two-man job.
But I did determine that I may need to do this with the door that came off the car.
Not certain how well doors should interchange and fit, but when I had four of six gaps great the others were terrible.
I recall threads here of doors and door frames being modified for improved fit.
Once my auction closes I will be able to hire some help and get this done.
