'73 Europa TCS w/Stromberg Head & 4spd On BaT

Would have been built/invoiced around Oct or Nov 1972. Speedo show 06260, but engine repair invoice on 11/04/1991 show 50,361 - seller notes it was reset, and says now probably around 63K. Crossover pipes, vapor tank, and boosters deleted, wheel flares and headers added, plus Panasport rims. Whole lotta stress cracks in some photos, and passenger door had big cracks from some kind of impact. But looks like those got fixed, or mostly, based on later Kansas plate leading pics. And it does have an nice ashtray. Having 205's on rear 15" rims is fine, but not smart on fronts IMHO.

It went for $15,000. Very anticlimactic bidding at the end. There didn't seem to be many people watching. It was a nice enough car. but I didn't think it was anything special. I thought the buyer got a good deal and seeing as how the seller didn't seem to be present at the end, it seemed like he just wanted to be rid of it - and that's what he got.

BDA  somewhat agree, while I have never lived with a Lotus I would say that Bryan Boyle's car at $20,000 plus parts is a bargain compared to this one.

Without a doubt. If you’re interested in “living with a Lotus” Bryan is pretty much a known quantity and without seeing it, I’m confident he built a super car! You’re sure to do a lot worse than buying his car
