1973 Europa Special 5 speed, excellent restoration project. SOLD.

⦁   5 speed inspected with new seals and transmission mounts.
⦁   Clear title, owners manual, shop manual and original factory warranty certificate.
⦁   Original mirrors, bumpers, fuel caps in excellent condition.
⦁   1 Willwood aluminum brake caliper (used for fitment purposes) and custom fabricated mounts for front brake conversion.  Miata rear disc kit (from Lotus group buy). Have original calipers and rear drums.

⦁   Original black seats in good shape (small seam separation on drivers seat).
⦁   All original instruments in excellent condition.
⦁   Original carpeting to be used as a pattern.
⦁   Many original and partial restoration photos showing disassembly ect.......also notebook regarding same.
⦁   Original wiring harness completely labeled.
⦁   Custom aluminum alternator pulley.
⦁   Panasport wheels and 2 original apare tires on Lotus steel wheels.
⦁   Crossover pipes and large charcoal cannister are missing. Still have the secondary charcoal cannister.
⦁   All original receipts.
⦁   Dave Bean headers and parts catalog.
⦁   Stainless door hinges and Racemark steering wheel.
⦁   Original starter, alternator, brake boosters, carbs ect.
⦁   All original keys and even the elusive ash tray!
⦁   There's probably more stuff but these are the main points.
This is basically a complete original example that needs to be finished up.  The car is located in Northeast Missouri on the Mississippi river.....about 90 miles north of St. Louis in Hannibal Missouri.  I'm going to ask $6,700 for the lot and it's reasonable to assume there's significantly more in it than that.  I would love to see the car finished to a very high standard and put back on the road or show circuit but I seem to be running out of time......
Thanks for your interest and kind regards,
BW

You may be a short-timer here but  :Welcome: Wolfgang!!!! You're certainly welcome to hang around after you sell your project!

You appear to have a lot of good parts and a good start on a full restoration. I hope it finds a good home!

Actually I'm a long time member and came here directly from the europa on line knowledge base (after it's demise).  I haven't been active on the site for quite some time and couldn't log in for some reason.....so I had to re-register.  Thanks for the kindly welcome never-the-less! I have an '06 Exige as well (been a hard core Lotus fan since Jim Clark embarrassed everyone at the Indy 500 with the huge win....I believe he was on the cover of "Boy's Life" after that.

When you post look at the bottom of the page and you'll see where it says; Attachments and other options. Click on that and then click on Browse to find the image you want to post. NOTE: there is a size limit. To post more photos hit More Attachments below the file you just loaded and a new Browse window will open.

I get the photo which is too large a file and use Microsoft Snipping Tool which seems to change it to a much smaller file instantly, plus you can use it to reduce the area of the photo cutting out any irrelevant stuff.

I used 4129R's method too. Apple has a similar utility that youtube will be glad to show you how to use.

Here's a video to show you how to use the snipping tool. The reason it works is it converts your high resolution picture to a picture with the resolution of your screen which is much lower.

The "official" method of resizing your pictures is here: https://www.lotuseuropa.org/LotusForum/index.php?topic=1379.msg12166#msg12166
