2024 Triangle British Classic Car Show

Our local MG club is putting on the 27th Annual Triangle British Classic Car Show on May 18th at the Hendricks Center for Automotive Excellence on the campus of Wake Tech North, Raleigh, North Carolina. The show starts at 9:00am and ends at 2:00pm.

Of particular interest to some of us is that from what I am led to  understand, a new Lotus dealer is starting up in Charlotte, North Carolina and they are planning to make an appearance with at least an Emira. I'll of course be there with my Europa!

The car show was a success. Nine Lotus (the company has decreed that the plural of "Lotus" is "Lotus") there! Four of the were brand new Emiras. More Emiras than I've ever seen in one place!

D'man would have liked the Elan +2 there!

There were a lot of other cars there, of course, including some very pretty Austin Healey 3000s, MG As, MG TCs and MG TFs, Mini Coopers, a smattering of Jaguars and Aston Martins but I figured the Lotus contingent was of the most interest to us here.
