Happy Thanksgiving back at you, D’man and to everyone here! I know not everyone is on this side of the pond but I think it’s a good thing to be thankful for things. A little humility is a good thing!

And thanks to everyone for excellent contributions to everything Europa and non-Europa related. I’m always learning more.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you across the pond.

Over her, turkeys hide mid/late December.

The man most responsible Bernard Matthews, imported a few turkey eggs just after the war, bought all the disused airfields in Norfolk and put turkey farms on them. Whereas dear old Chunky bought an old airfield and put Hethel industrial estate and the test track on one.

Both Silverstone and Snetterton race circuits were made on old airfields.

By the way, my commiserations on the 60th anniversary of yesterday. I remember it well.
