Toying around

   Working on my grandkids, Girls and Boys, shadow box for all their matchbox cars and started painting these special ones.
  These will have a special place in that box since they know, "That's POP-POP'S car. Especially the Black one, noticeably missing. He had to take it home and her the Pink one. ( Bet you'all can't see the color she picked out) 
  Fun times.
    PS: The TC in Colorado orange was my first ride, but that's going to Literymadness one day.

  Now a little time to organize my grandkids collection of car and trucks .
  I broke out some sorely underutilized equipment. With sawdust flying I made a wall hanging shadow box display.
 Still needs a little finishing and some painting but this should hold him for awhile.

Honestly mate, I don't know how you find the time for all these projects as well as working on your fleet and then, for light relief, helping out others. Very impressive, it would have taken me ages to do that many models and even then they wouldn't have looked so good.

  Thanks Guys,
  Just trying to spoil the kids so they will come over an cut the lawn… I’ll have to buy a riding mower though. 😂. I believe he has about this quantity now , it holds 147. Favorite is pop pops black lotus..
    Finished the cuts to the back and sides. Tomorrow paint and some wood filler and sanding then final assembly.
  It’s good to relax now that I’m retired.😂

  Yesterday was the payoff for this project, even the parents were surprised at the name plate.
I added it after the parents decided on about how many cars it should hold. 😂🎅
 He started loading it up immediately. 😂
Parents should play less pickup now.

  We continued Christmas here for a few more days here .  The yearly trains came out and we started a new game , “can you fit inside an Europa?🥱😂.  They were warned not to use the pillars to get out. 😂
  I’m 5’10  Brandon got in and out at 6’4.

     We do miss the snow and a dip in the temps to 57f at night did help.
