From the description, it seems to be a hybrid of Series 1, 3 and 4. Plus a replacement engine. So maybe non-originality brought the price down.

That is a real bitsa.  It has been modified out the ying yang.  Elan independent rear suspension?  Crossflow?  2000E gearbox?  Not much of the original Seven left, if there ever was any.  Price seems appropriate.
