Thermal images of radiator with poor cooling
« on: Wednesday,July 05, 2023, 08:40:40 AM »
This was from last year when I was dealing with poor cooling only when it was 100+. Camera is the least expensive Flir cell phone plug in. I also picked up a used digital manometer to measure pressure to compare the two as there is a divider in the shroud.

Both fans are identical Spal and were purchased new. One was not doing it's job.  I had a little room and used a slightly taller but same diameter, higher flowing one to replace it.

I included one of my fuse/relay box in the engine compartment and one of the fan cooled intercooler through the lid.

Main fuse got a little warm with 2 radiator fans, intercooler fan, a/c, and electric fuel pump. I cleaned up the terminals after.
