I miss having access to a brake and a 4’ shear
When I was shopping for machinery I ran across this little 36” brake for about 100$ with free shipping, so I just had to buy it. Not all that bad, beefy were needed but clamping a little tedious.
Now where to put it , top of work bench , no , I don’t want to drill holes in an oak top. Mount to a very heavy table saw from the 1940’s . No , too much work .
So I came up with bolted to garage floor , not always but when needed. I can do long lengths and can lay the sheet metal on the ground practically flat . What do you think?
