What's best method to drain cooling system - esp. the block?
« on: Thursday,March 09, 2023, 08:05:46 AM »
Hi All,

New to this forum. Caretaker of a 74 Special since 1985. Have recently flushed and drained the cooling system and haven't been able to get all water out of the block. What's the best approach? Would raising the passenger side help? Thanks!

Ok - thanks! Got that out. Is that effective for draining both sides of the block. Definitely makes sense.  :P

Yes, it drains both sides of the block.
