Well...made a pilgrimage to my connection (Ray @ RD). Picked up some bits to keep moving the project along...bit the bullet and bought a pair of engine mounts...trunnion rebuild kit, new lower bushings for my set of Spax for the front (a buddy is pushing out the old bushings and pressing in new ones and resetting the spring heights to where I like them; they're the shorter springs, so the boat nose will go away.
Have a new set of ball joints for the front, and steering rack rod ends. That should take care of the suspension in the front for now.
But followed suggestion to pick up both engine mounts; if one is bad after 50 years, the other may be not far behind...and they're nicely built and powder coated, so pretty sure they'll last longer than I'll have the car. With the left side of the engine stripped down (after I get the exhaust manifold off to drop the exhaust so I can attend to the leaky oil pan and cork seals at front and rear), will chop off the frame-mounted clutch cable mount and put on the block-mounted clutch cable fitting, new engine mount(s), oil pan reseal, and new exhaust system.
That's the plan, anyway. Now, if the temps in the garage would just moderate...
