Will these wheel fit - better option?
« on: Monday,August 23, 2021, 12:26:09 PM »
Hi

I need some wheels to my Europa S2 -68, but is not sure what's the preferred "correct" dimensions. (Offset, ET, center hole, width etc)
I found these that seems as a good option
https://www.johnbrownwheels.com/product/55-x-13-d1-4x9525-5513D1495
or
https://www.johnbrownwheels.com/product/55-x-13-minilight-4x9525-5513ML495
or
https://www.johnbrownwheels.com/product/6-x-13-revolite-4x9525-6013RL495

But they have different offset, 16 vs 25mm. Thoughts about that?
Also, what center bore size is needed to fit over the "center bolt"? These have 67.1mm, is there any risk that thay don't fit due to that?

On this side, there are a long list of different wheels, but not sure if all of them are a good fit or will come with some issues.

Any other aspects that I need to consider?
Any other recomendations for me?
Have you experience from this dealer?
I live in Sweden

Lotus Supplies (Banks) has a selection of wheels, including the Lotus brand alloy.   Looks like your first picture is a copy of the Lotus brand.   Lotus Supplies is less expensive.

Ideal sizing for a europa would be 13x5.5 ET25 or 13x6 ET19. I have bought Revolution wheels, from revolution themselves.

Lotus Supplies is more than twice as expensive. Notice John Brown price is for set of 4.

That first linked wheel isn't a Lotus copy, it's a copy of the Dunlop D1 rim which was a period fitment to Mini's, Cortina's and Lotus 7 s3's.  The Twim Cam wheel looks similar but the spoke profile is different.

I have a set of wheels from John Brown Wheels.  They came with the center caps and lug nuts too.  The size I got for my Twin Cam are 5.5x13 with the ET of 25.  I bought a set of five Minilights for 419.00 pounds including shipping.  That was $506.95 U.S. in Sept 2019.  As you can see in my little photo, I did the Minilights in gold with the silver lip.  It looks good with my gold rocker panel covers.
