No Lotus Content but Help if you can

OK, so I have a cleaning problem.  Wife is out to the foodstore via the GMC Yukon and her Driver side mirror  get whacked by a truck meandering over the line.  So Mirror has some kind of fluid for the defog or heat option (oil based ?? anti-freeze??).  Now have Yellow fluid all over the D/S door and glass and down the side.  Due to time lag getting to her and switching cars, it dried in place.  Car is white.

I've exhausted the cleaners I have: Car wash, Dawn detergent, Fantastic,  couple others.  No luck.  Still have a residue on glass and visible on the body.

Any ideas from the collective??

Try soaking kitchen paper towel in petrol/gasoline and carefully rubbing the stain.

Take care where you put the paper afterwards.

   Fluid stain , try a mineral spirts or rubbing alcohol. If that doesn’t work try some lacquer thinner.
If it need something stronger use some rubbing compound by hand .

WD-40 may work.....It will take off tar, sticker goo etc

Thanks all. 

Going to try Mineral Spirits first.  I have WD-40 will give it a shot also.  Polishing Compound is also on the list to try.
Should be fun.  Most is on D/S door as it dripped to running board but spots all the way down the side as the wife drove off a bit to get to a safe spot to pull over.

Tomorrow will tell.

So I still do not know what the fluid is but I do know it was not bothered by any cleaner I had as well as gasoline.
Could not find any mineral spirits and decided to just give Polishing Compound a go.

This was successful in getting  the stains removed.  Did not work well on the Plastic running board but everything else was good.

Appreciate the help.
