Thanks for asking. Almost done with 40 stuff. Just takes time to find original parts that are few between and far away. Have tracked down stuff in Australia, Japan, Germany, France and of course England. Just found some original magnesium wheels, so restoring those now. Anyone familiar with using Dow# 7 ?
Plan is to finish the Lotus this summer, looking forward to getting back into it. A little hesitant to put water and gas into it . I hate leaks and if I do have them would rather work in warm weather. Pressurized the oil system no leaks at the cooler, lines, block adapter so that was a good sign. I did correct an issue with bump steer geometry as I have lowered the front some. Flipped the steering stock rod ends so they install from the top of the steering arm. Used a tapered reamer to reverse the taper half way into the steering arm, then machined a bushing to make up the difference on the now lower side of the taper.
