Interesting but strange. Who wants the headers over the cam cover especially since it would require modifying the engine cover and block your rearward view? It does seem to be well executed.

Common single seater practice to keep the package narrow and more aero.

He does actually say " The photo of Header /exhaust system over valve cover is specific to our (Targa Top Conversion)"
Must admit though the picture is confusing - it is a Europa chassis, but what are those roll over bars about....?? I can only assume this has been built for a different body.

only 150 / 160 bhp, thats easily achievable for a Renault crossflow, circa $13000 buys you lots of parts to make it a big capacity engine with twin 45 dcoes, etc, uprated transmission with LSD, close ratio gearset, etc

Looks like a nice package. I wonder if there will be any space issues at the front with the cam drive, water pump, etc.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

It's the same person who is/was offering the GSXR1000 engine conversion package.

The webpage link is on the eBay listing.

Personally, I think the Ford Dragon engine looks like a good option for an engine swap if someone can figure out swapping the ECU with all its requirements*.  It should be a bit shorter than an inline 4 so easy to fit with a bit more wiggle room; and plenty available lightly used (Ford Escape in North America).

Did anybody else do a transaxle swap to a VW unit?

* I mean how hard can that be? ???

Ahh, no!
VW trans, no way. I suppose if I were desperate to build an abomination from scraps I could use the Porsche 901 five speed I have on the shelf.
At least the 901 (From a 914) is already intended for mid-engine.
