I have a 1974 twin cam special, I’ve had the car for 35 plus years. Finally am getting around to putting some needed effort into the car. Found a mechanic that loves lotus. I’m in Naples Fl.

We are looking to upgrade front discs, and add rear discs. However, I’m looking for the calipers that have a logo on exterior, ie wildwood, so racing. Does anyone have a link for such items?

I’ve been looking on line and the only calipers I find are regular no logo type. We will be putting Pana Sport wheels on so I want the brakes to Say Something!

It might sound tacky, but I have to hang with EVERY EXOTIC in the world here and I want the TC to hold her own.
Thanks for any help or feedback.

 :Welcome:  Riley!!

Willwood would be a good place to start (https://www.wilwood.com/).

Why don’t you post some pictures of your baby!

We love pictures here and we’d love to hear about and see about your progress!

:Welcome: Riley: I am just over on the other side of Alligator Alley in West Broward County (Davie). I have a TCS and just upgraded my front brakes to vented and my rear brakes to discs. There is also an S1a a few miles from me and an S2 in Pompano Beach. At least least three TCS in Palm Beach County. Another half dozen or so in the Mid-Part of the State and up the Treasure Coast on up to the Space Coast (Dakazman). There are also a couple more on your coast between Naples and Tampa. There is at least one other Europa (an S2) in Naples besides your TCS that I know of.  PM me and I will give you my contact information.

Welcome to the forum, Riley. I believe there is a Wilwood solution for front brakes that will fit with the 13" Lotus road wheels. Search the forum for threads on brakes, lots of good info scattered around there. There is not an 'off the shelf' brake assembly with integral parking brake from Wilwood, etc, that will fit the 13" wheel, though there was a forum member working on modifying a Wilwood assembly for this application, that may see the light of day. The problems were significant, but reportedly not insurmountable. Stay posted to the forum, as brake discussions occur from time to time.
