I'm think that Crown Royal shifter boot is classy...they work for storing fishing reels too!

The wheels and the ashtray are the best parts of that car!

It will make a good project for someone!

Its interesting, I can understand why the carpet, muffler, air cleaner, clutch assembly, rear portion of trans shift linkage and brake booster would be missing - but not the flywheel....  It originally was perhaps dismantled for a clutch change, (gearbox put back in later to enable it to be moved.), but why would you remove the flywheel...??

To reface the surface where a worn clutch plate had scored the face.

To change a leaky oil seal behind the flywheel.

Not bad price for someone who knows Europas. Here I thought Crown Royal bags were only used for storing Scrabble tiles.

Engine and gearbox are present, I would not be afraid of this car.
Not too far away either.

Richard, you have to go see it, if you’re so close. I past up a s2for 1600 and now can kick myself, only because I didn’t want to part it out , hell just take the ashtray and wheels and resell.

Not Too far away to collect after purchase, but at around nine-hundred miles round trip not close enough for a casual visit either.  :))

I had to google 'Crown Royal' as I had no idea what it is.

It would appear that they manufacture a range of gear stick gaiters / shifter boots in a limited range of colours, here's a couple of links:
