Hi Team,
my first post, has anyone sourced an Aston or Monza fuel cap to fit the standard 2" fuel filler behind the Europa rear window?

Hi Tim,

You mean like the ones Serge Sleurs fitted to his S1?

I like the look but to me there's competing issues.
The small ones look too dinky for my taste.
The large ones are fairly cramped.

Hi Tim.

 :Welcome:

Is there any reason you dont want tu use the Twin Cam flip top fuel caps? I would have thought they would be a simpler fit.

Thx All, where can I purchase a Twin Cam Flip type, trying not to have to cut /weld  the fuel neck or cut larger holes in the body such as Serge did .

They are basically the same as a Triumph TR6.  No idea if the TR6 filler pipe matches as well.

Try eBay. Motor bikes have the same type.

This is in the UK https://www.sjsportscars.com/parts-and-accessories/SJ074L0001.htm

The tube on the bottom passes through a rubber grommet in the body and is connected to the tank via a rubber hose. I don't think you can replace just the cap as the hinge fitting is on the top of the pipe.

For that price I will use one of them for my Bradley VW kit car in place of my original Triumph GT6 filler assembly.

Thx Guys,
started with bike fittings, hard to find with 2" neck, otherwise cutting and welding, will also look to the TR6 fitting.

TR Spitfire may be a tad smaller than TR6.

Hi Tim, welcome to the forum and thank you for posting the thread.

I have an S2 type 54 and my fillers are both only key operated...which is a bit of a bore and one more key to have on the ring. Do the twin cam ones have to be locked or can you just have them on the button? I had them on my last but I just can't remember

Many thanks and good luck Tim
