Getting someone to stitch the leather cover to my steering wheel presented "a challenge".

No local seamstresses wanted to do the job, even those who advertised that they repaired leather.

So I took it to a horse saddlery shop in my village, and they sent it off the Newmarket (huge horse racing centre in England) and they stitched it up by hand perfectly.

Cost of stitching £40.

Just shows it can be done if you think outside the box.
