2345R goes North
« on: Monday,April 12, 2021, 07:24:57 AM »
Hello Forum, I am the lucky new owner of Rogers car. Like Roger, and ACBC,I was born in England (Merseyside) and started my motoring with a Austin 7. My dream was a Lotus Elite,I got one as my drive to college car, eventually swopping it for a Lotus Cortina. Eventually moved to USA. I have rebuilt/ restored a variety of vehicles, and, as I  am getting old, decided that this time I would start with a good condition car. I have the ability and equipment to do a frame off restore but,I am running out of years!! Roger has done a nice job with this car, flawless paint and the leather upholstery smells great.  1850 mile trip home including a very nerve wracking few hours at 70 trying to outrun a storm with golf ball size hail. Stopped at RD and George opened up for us for some spares, I bought a water pump kit so that, hopefully , I won’t need it! Since Jan,when I did the deal with Roger,I have read most of the forum,it’s good to join such a helpful group.  That’s it,time to get it registered. Bruce in Vermont.

Congrats on the purchase. It's a lovely Europa. Glad to have you aboard. Cheers  :beerchug:
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

Lovely car. For a moment I thought you copped mine but I just checked the garage and it's still there!
