Were you thinking of Alpine-America (http://www.alpine-america.qc.ca)?

If so, Michel's accent is very thick and it might be better to email him in French (if you're not fluent, translate.google.com is your friend).

Clean up the oil pan and take it to an industrial gasket shop.  They make one easily in whatever material you like.

Cheapest option would be to just order one from the R16 shop:

If you can a large enough cork sheet, you could easily make your own.  Invest in a gasket punch as there are a lot of holes.

I don't have a Renault engine so I don't know. I've done many Toyota and Nissan pans and always used RTV. Can this not be done on the Renaults?

one thing wrong with RTV, once fitted without a gasket its hard to get the pan off, you have to use a wood chisel.
However if you use a gasket & RTV then the gasket tears then you can scrape whats left off easily
