luggage tray
« on: Monday,February 01, 2021, 03:36:19 PM »
Was about to cut up my luggage tray, but it's in pretty good shape. I know in the Shelby Mustang, Cobra world some stuff is unobtainable. Is this luggage tray worth saving for the Europa concours aficionado,
as I can go in another direction? Maybe someone really needs one?

Originality doesn't mean nearly as much to me as it does for some people so keeping that in mind, you can evaluate my next sentence: I would think that having a reproduction trunk tray would not be a big deal for someone trying to keep his car "original." r.d. enterprises, Lotus Supplies both sell reproductions and I would expect that Dave Bean Engr. also sells reproductions too. So if someone needs a trunk tray, reproductions are available.

Thanks, that answers my question. The other club mentioned....most would take an original marginal part over a reproduction anyday.

See, I told you I didn’t have a feel for how “originalists” view trunk trays!  :)
