these are my rear springs
« on: Sunday,October 25, 2020, 12:06:29 PM »
I assume they are not original, but can they be adjusted to lower the car? I am hoping to lower the back a couple of inches as well as the front. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Martin

That "castellated" ring around the shock at the bottom of the spring is your adjustable perch. Screw that down to lower the car.

Dave Bean, r.d., and lotus-supplies have "uprated" springs that are stiffer and a bit shorter to give better handling. You might consider them at some point.

Repeatedly spray those adjusters with penetrating oil and let them soak for a few days before trying to turn them.
