This has also been going on in the background along with the SVO Mustang engine rebuild which is now complete …. this one was basically done this past weekend so I can concentrate on TCST .

I did put coolant in TCST, chased some leaks and connect the remote reservoir to the MC.

Nice to work with my younger son on it! We painted it with custom color matched rattle cans and 2K clear …. Good enough for a car the insurance considered “totaled”

Really nice job on that Pontiac. You both have a good future in painting cars, ... excuse me.., collision experts. :trophy: :trophy:

Very nice! I've seen some videos of spraying a car with rattle cans that came out really good (at least it looked good in the video!).

Very nice! I've seen some videos of spraying a car with rattle cans that came out really good (at least it looked good in the video!).

I did the front cowling of my Cessna with rattle cans from Kemperle (https://www.kemperle.com/); they custom mix rattle cans of urethane 2-part from scans (I used my luggage compartment door, which had all three colors I needed).  Seems to work just fine for small jobs.  I did bring down the bonnet for them to scan the black and bought 6 cans ($200!) just in case I got some initiative to repaint the bootlid...but, am taking the 'it's patina' route with 3291R.

It can be done, and if you follow the directions, it will turn out pretty good.

Chased some more coolant drips, wired up and temporarily mounted AFR gauge ….  Brownie points if you know car the Turbocharged emblem came out of ….

I see you have a cable shifter (maybe you told us that already...). I'm going to guess you got the "Turbocharged" badge from a Mustang but that is a wild guess. You are going to change out your dash, aren't you? What are your plans? Or do you want to keep it a surprise?

I should have guessed. It is a cable shifter, right? Do you have a 365? I've lost track...

I'm glad to see you are going to use a wideband to tune it too.

Turbo, you're killing me with your dash pictures. I have two extra S2 facias cut, one with a veneer but not for a TC. I would send it to you but it just wouldn't work. I made that just to play around with other looks later on. everything sucks up time on these one off builds but it's worth it. Keep going.

Decided to sand (to 3000 grit) and buff Pontiac hood , figured it was good practice for things to come ;)

(Should have wiped the dust off before taking a pic)
