Yes my left rear lamps have grren purple and red for park and turn,
Green brown for reverse and green white for turn signal
My right one has simple grreen for turn signals and same as left side for park and turn and reverse
And on the right side i have more wires coming from the harness than on the left side
I have :
2 x Green/purple
1 x Green/brown
2 x red
1 x Green/white
2 x black
What do i connect to what properly?
First, I would clean off your wires with some gentle degreaser or cleaner so you don't clean any color tracers off the insulation.
Then, all black wires should be grounds so they should eventually be connected to some clean metal.
In your second picture, the green/purple wire deserves a better connection than the picture shows.
Here's a copy of the wiring diagram:

I think that you pretty much match color for color between the lamp and the harness. The exception (according to the wiring diagram) is on the right hand lamp, the green wire should connect to a green/white wire on the harness. (from that, I assume that the green wire from the lamp is a "generic" green wire presumably because the manufacturer could not predict which side of the car the lamp would be mounted. if that is the case, the indicator light in the left hand lamp may be green also in which case that should be connected to the green/red wire in the harness.)
One thing that might confuse you is the green/purple wire from the right hand lamp connects to two green/purple wires in the harness - one of which goes to the left hand lamp and the other goes stop switch.
I think if you stare at the wiring diagram, the lucas wiring color standard, the wires in your harness and the wires in your lamps, you'll be able to figure it out. JB's suggestion for getting some test lamps leads can help a lot if colors are not well preserved. In any case, don't feel shy about asking more questions!
Good luck!
