FS: (free, $0 plus shipping) (Gone) Lucas M35J starter, bad solenoid, good motor

Hi everyone,

In the belief that old cars should live forever, I'd like to find a home for this Lucas M35J starter from my 72 Europa TC.  (I will admit to a foggy memory and this may have been a spare that was never in my car.)  Continuity checks show that the solenoid has a broken wire while the starter coils are fine.  I haven't attempted to apply current to the motor - a 15lb piece of loose machinery jumping to life while I'm applying jumper cables is too much excitement.
