eBay 74 Europa project
« on: Tuesday,July 14, 2020, 02:01:22 PM »
The seller spent $15k on the engine, $6k on paint prep, $3.5k on a spare car to get a good chassis, and $600 on a new dashboard.  He also acquired 2 Fuego 5 speed transaxles.

There's no reason given for the sale, and I can't help wondering what happened.

I expect there is quite a lot missing. Some of the missing bits may be made from unobtanium.

To collect that car, you would need a large lorry and trailer, or stick it all in a big container.

Why is he selling it?

A very risky purchase without careful viewing and listing everything he has got.

He is claiming 193 HP on that new Twin Cam. The sounds pretty stout for a street engine. How streetable would it be, I wonder.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

That engine is 188 at 8,000 RPM, so it seems it is possible.

That would be very intractable at low revs, and would probably need a close ratio gearbox with a low final drive to make it driveable.

If a normal twink is pulling 126mph at 6,500, at 8,000 it would be doing 152 mph.

Not for me thank you.
