Team Lotus prepares for the 1978 British F1 Grand Prix

I found this video of Lotus at the British GP at Brands Hatch in '78. There are some scenes of the preparation which are interesting (Mario brought up the idea of staggering the tires and you can see them measure the circumference of one of the tires.) Unfortunately, it wasn't a good Sunday for Lotus.

Interesting documentary. But Chapman looked like he had aged 30 years instead of ten when you compare him to that 1968 documentary.  I guess running Lotus was stressful.  How do you not love the JPS F1 cars!

Refreshing to watch as compared to this mornings stomp by Mercedes...I'm afraid this years championship is done and dusted.
