Such a lovely car with great history. Which chassis number is it, though? 47GT-04 or 47GT-78?
I understand from the ad's text that Pat Thomas restored chassis -04 in recent years to 1967 spec.

On the other hand John Neil found the chassis -78 on a scrap yard in 1974 and that's the end of this story line.

For my understanding that means that there two (almost) identical snorkel cars are out there, which both are legit and authentic. Am I right? :huh:
