Costin Nathan GT
Wow. I'm fascinated by Costin and I reckon he's one of those unsung heroes. A Costin Nathan has GOT to be worth a thread of it's own, I don't care what section you put it in, but you've just got to do it.....

That is impeccable timing to post that you have a Costin-Nathan.  I just saw in my instagram feed that Paul Matty Just put a Costin Nathan up for sale. https://paulmattysportscars.co.uk/costin-nathan-gt-1966/

ever so slightly out of my price bracket.....    maybe if I said I believe in Father Christmas ?    :)

How can anyone have just 1 Lotus?

Elan S4 DHC
+2 Shell (in a sad state)
As of three days ago that was it, then...
Add an Elan S4 FHC and an Elan S3SE DHC. Both in component form.
Yes, I have a problem.
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to me and to everyone on this forum.

Yeah, that's the thing isn't it ? I buy a Lotus as my daily driver and fall in love with it over the next few years. Can't bring myself to sell it, so I rebuild it and of course while that's going on I need another car. So I buy another "old" Lotus as a daily while the other gets rebuilt. Rinse, repeat......   40+ years of addiction.......

Hi Brian,

It’s nice to see that the passion for lotus never wears off. Nice cars. I enjoyed reading your old website. You should publish and join Zog from the Elan forums.

Oh boy, this is a question of obsession that I’m not sure I want to admit. Two months ago I owned eight cars.  So, the fun ones :

64 Lotus Elan S1 (frame off restoration built as fast road car)
65 Lotus Elan S2 (soft restoration to keep it original but mechanically sound)
72 Lotus Europa (3 year frame off restoration)
05 Lotus Elise (in the midst of a build to enhance it a bit)

The regular transportation (they are all black vehicles):

03 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck (killer sound system and lifted 4x4)
13 Audi Allroad (completely stock)
14 Audi Q5 (diesel with 400 ft lbs torque & tow hitch)
15 VW Tiguan S (completely stock)

I recently sold the 2 Elan’s and pickup truck. The Europa TC is for sale. I’m down sizing, but will always have a Lotus  :beerchug:

I don't know if you'd call it a passion, there are times when I'm pretty sure my missus would have called it "a plague".   :)

Thanks for the kind words about the antique website of how the internet used to be. It could be updated but I reckon it's quaint as it is, and a reminder of just how far we've come in the last 20yrs.

Certified -  now that's some list, far too many for me to handle at any one time !  We "grew" to 6 cars at one point (the 3 Lotus plus interlopers) but I found it just too much effort, there always seemed to be one needing something doing. So we kept the Lotus's and chickened out by each getting a modern car and trading them regularly.  Which gives me time to play with toys.....    ;)
