Membership Year end 2019

As 2019 comes to a close we are very near 1,000 members. Currently membership stands a 997! Excellent growth this year. I'm hoping with 14 days left we can break the 1,000 mark. Thanks to all support and contributions to the forum. I appreciate you guys! 

For all you lurkers out there, please step up and post. Your thoughts and contributions help keep our little cars alive.

That's a very impressive 2019 Joe, apart from the bump in membership (Yahoo groupies ?     ) there's a notable increase in posting.  And 78 online, for such a niche hobby has got to be good.

Well done for keeping it rolling along, this is one of the few forums I go on where I don't get "whoops, it's gone wrong" pages so you're obviously doing something right !

I scan the statistics from time to time and this forum has had some good solid growth! It's been good to see that.

I would like to reiterate what Joe said to lurkers. Come on in, the water's fine! As long as it fits on this forum (i.e. not having to do with a diet!), I think we'd all like to see what you think; see pictures of your car; try to answer your questions; or just chat on topic related to Europas, Loti, or sports/classic car events.

Seriously though this forum makes my decision to buy the Europa a lot more comfortable. That and the buzz I get just seeing the photos of it on my PC desktop at work!

I second SilverBeast's comment that this forum helped my decision to buy a Europa more comfortable.
Any doubts that I had were quickly dispelled by searching similar topics where other Europa owner had asked before.

I never would have been able to complete my restoration without all the support of this forum. Not only from a technical standpoint but also motivation and friendship.

Just think of all the Europas that are running or back on the road specifically because of this forum. I am sure public awareness of Europas has also increased due to this forum's members.  Congrats Joe and all the members on this forum

A while ago, I started this thread (http://www.lotuseuropa.org/LotusForum/index.php?topic=2404.0) to discuss how many frame-off restorations. In the end, there were more than a dozen. That should give one an idea of the level of interest and this forum supports.

I am currently rebuilding #4, with 5, 6, & 7 in component form with their chassis rebuilt, and shells repainted.

My apologies, Alex. I should have considered all your restorations in my count but I guess I was thinking more in terms of individuals doing a restoration. I didn't mean to give your efforts short shrift. I should say that restoring seven cars at one time can be more than seven times the effort.

December 30, 2019 we finally reached 1,000 members. Lets see what 2020 brings!
