This also sparked my interest; I have been in contact with the seller, (who is apparently in Germany), although the car is in the Scottish highlands. The seller is a lady selling on behalf of a family member. She sent me 12 further pictures of the car: it is left hand drive and engine wise I would say it is to American specs. The photo’s show the car to be complete, (with the exception of the front windscreen), with no evidence of the car being bastardized by butchers with a hammer and adjustable spanner, (Unlike the example I am presently rebuilding…), the lady claims it has been dry stored for 40 years. The head is painted blue, suggesting head off at some stage, (odometer in photos shows 30,000 miles), and I personally believe from looking at some of the photo’s carefully that the car was originally yellow. I must admit at what she is asking I am tempted to buy it as a spares donor for my car…. as lets face it £5,600 does not buy much on a Europa rebuild…!!!
