Caravan from South Florida to Log 39
« on: Sunday,July 21, 2019, 02:30:28 PM »
I am taking my Lotus to Log 39 via the Autotrain.  The Autotrain goes from  Sanford FL to Lorton VA outside of Washington.  I am then driving for 200 miles or so to around Quakertown PA to visit  RD enterprises.  It is about half way.  The next day, 200 miles to Sturbridge.  The return trip agenda is about the same.  Anyway, I am leaving Tuesday August 20th and return on the Autotrain Wednesday August 28th.  If any of you are interested in caravanning, let me know.  I’ll be leaving Fort Lauderdale around 10 am on Tuesday, August 20th.

Paul, there are a group of us in Elan’s and Europa’s from the NJ and PA area doing a back road trip to LOG (meaning no highways and enjoying the drive & views). We are leaving Thursday morning from Princeton and picking up a couple of people on the way in PA. Ted Taylor is planning the route where we will drive about 5 hours on Thursday (August 22), stay in a small town hotel and then leave Friday morning to arrive at Sturbridge by lunchtime on Friday. We are doing the same trip home on Monday and Tuesday (August 26 & 27).

You are welcome to join us.
