I think this has to be the biggest middle finger to the turbo/electric/tech dominated hypercar trend.

What a refreshing concept, a 2100lbs w/ a 4L V12 that revs to over 12k with an H pattern manual box!

What are your thoughts?

Have read that he is kind of approaching it as a development of the F1 - which will make it truly awesome! - if I win the lottery I could also stand a chance of owning a T.50 wereas even after a lottery win i’m unlikely to have the money to buy an F1 still....!

Cool! I remember reading that when Elford was racing the Chaparral 2J, he was able to drive through oil on the track but all the conventional cars had to avoid it. I thought it was too bad that that idea wasn't given more development effort because it would potentially be very useful for street cars.

Speaking about fan cars, I was amazed when Brabham introduced their fan car since Jim Hall's fan car was de-legalized back in 1970 for movable aerodynamic devices which, as I remember, were the fan blades! I was even more amazed that the FIA allowed it to race.

The T.50 really seems to be a breath of fresh air in the current environment of hyper tech cars. A young engineer car nut in my office is quite keen on modern supercars, but has had to deal with my quiet rumblings of 'everything that is wrong with modern supercars', and my gripes about 'an automatic in everything these days'. He is also fascinated with my personal interests in lightweight and simplification, and my desires for analogue things. He was excited to get my reaction when he showed me the T.50 online last week. I am quite impressed with the formula to which this thing is designed & built, and the result seems to be a real car, and glory of glories, it has a foot clutch!
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
