F1 Fans
« on: Saturday,November 03, 2018, 09:26:04 AM »
If you are a F1 fan, maybe you've frequented https://www.formula1.com. Besides the articles about the races, the technology, the drivers, etc. there are podcasts with prominent F1 people. I haven't listened to all of them, and to be truthful, I haven't found them all to be that interesting but of the ones I've listened to, I found the interviews with Martin Brundle and Jackie Stewart to be fascinating! Brundle has what I think is a keen analytical eye into what it takes to be an F1 driver maybe in spite of or because of the fact that he was not particularly successful as an F1 driver. He was successful in other forms of motorsport and maybe that gives him the perspective to have his insight. The interview with Stewart was incredible because he was there in the glory days of Clark, Rindt, Ickx, Amon but those were also the horrible days of F1 because so many people died. The sport was completely different. He was and is a much more fascinating (and well rounded) man than I ever imagined.

I thought some of us might be interested in them (and probably others). Here's the link: https://www.formula1.com/en/toolbar/beyond-the-grid-f1-podcast.html

Thanks BDA!  I am a huge F1 fan.  My childhood love of F1 is why I wanted to own a Lotus.
