S2 competition
« on: Sunday,August 12, 2018, 09:27:13 AM »
We are actually building a FIA HTP S2. I am looking for shock absorbers and springs suitable for competition purposes. Further, as we need to use the Renault engine I am looking for suitable competition camshaft. Some help would be great,  thanks in advance.
Any other hint is welcome 😎

Richard Winter at Banks has a lot of racing experience. You might give him a call. http://www.banks-europa.co.uk/index.php.

You need to talk to forum user 'Mecky' (Stefan).
He is in Germany and has looked at the FIA compliance issues.

THX to all ! Pictures are only a few at the moment. Here is one with some beautiful ladies on the day I picked the car up ;-)
I am already trying to get in touch with Mecky, but it seems they have stopped their activities due to a fatality in family.
Well the post around shocks and springs was already quite interesting. I will keep you informed !

And the next questions.....the front brake calipers are the same as the ones from the Spitfire ? Anyone knows a main brake cylinder with 2 circuits that fits ?

It's been some time since Mecky has been around here. I'm so sorry to hear about the death in his family!

Beautiful car (and ladies), amongst other beautiful cars! Interesting turn signals. I can't wait for more pictures!

I don't know what the rules allow, but Tiltonracing.com has some great products. If you need something more stock, you should be able to get a Spitfire M/C or you might look into what our own jbcollier found: http://www.lotuseuropa.org/LotusForum/index.php?topic=2717.0
