Ok just got my new leak down tester and tried it out I didn’t want to start the engine cause my carb is leaking on the inside which is why it was running rich  so I figured I’m gonna try one cylinder cold just to try it out and ended up doing all four

20 24 22 25 that’s with the engine cold I’m gonna rebuild my carb change the oil in case there’s a little gas that went down in the oil then redo my leak test I think with the engine warm the leak percentage will be lower

Yes, you have to have the engine warm.

When you try a test on a warmed up engine, you need to find out where it's leaking. Listen for air coming out the intake, exhaust, and crank case vent.

Sorry guys I really wanted to try my new tool !!  I know it was supposed to be warm but I just wanted to try it out and when I saw the first number I did the rest  I was surprised I thought there would have been more leakage and I did it outside so I did not pay to much attention to where the leaks were it was a bit noisy Outside I don’t want to damage the engine so I’m gonna fix the carb then redo the leak test correctly
According to what I read with engine at operating temperature I should get less leakage
I saw a guy he posted cold and warm leak test on same engine had 3% less leakage warm just hope to get similar results
