After a year I finally repaired some defects and put on the the last coat of clear on my El Camino .
More sanding and polishing to go.

Galvin, Big Lol,

But really ,  it’s my version of BRG.
Halfway mark,  sanded to where I feel comfortable enough not to burn thru the several coats applied.
This car was also painted in my garage and I find it relaxing or maybe it’s just the fumes. Lol.

BDA,
I can do that . I worked , work for an airline . Getting there is easy Lol.

I have a few bugs to get out before a event in April. I rebuilt the tilt wheel steering column and need to install it , but I was waiting for my arm to be able to lift it in place . I can do it but I will have to pace myself.
Dave.

I have been under the weather last week but finally kicked it. Getting my Camino ready for a event but needed to detail wives car , lol . Back on track now but still need a lot of finishing work.  Hope you like the pics. You can clearly see the difference between the sunlight on the car now.

Just... wow! Someday you’ll have to show us your paint setup. My $15 Harbor Fright spray gun and 6.5 CFM compressor ain’t nearly up to your standards.

Before the weather gets to hot and humid a total repaint to my wife’s van . Color still unknown to me , but it will be a complete change. Preparing now😀

Surf,
I have several guns , I’ll try to gather them up and yes harbor freight is in my arsenal. They are good throw sways and last surprisingly a long time but do leak .

As luck would have it , my van decided to blow a brake line ., couldn’t wait to get painted . Removed line and will bend it up tomorrow. The squirrel didn’t like my messing with her ex home much either, but my cat took charge of that situation.

Also my new garage door opener doesn’t lift the door high enough to pull van into garage. Lol just stopped in time . Made some adjustments to the rods and will see if I could get the car back in.
