Shipping a car from US to UK- any recomendations
« on: Friday,April 07, 2017, 03:11:45 AM »
Hi Forum .. I am delighted to have just purchased another Europa,  this time from the US , so i need to get it shipped back to the UK.  I have a couple of quotes  and they don't seem unreasonable , but just wondered if any of my fellow UK-ers have gone this route and if there were any recommendations on good reliable shipping agents ?  many thanks

Steve/Rinkens steve@rinkens.com                      CFR Rinkens.

If it drives, put it on a RORO to Southampton.

If it cannot move under its own power, stick it in a shared container which will end up at Felixstowe.

They have done 1 x RORO, 4 in a shared container separetely, and 2 + plenty of parts in the whole 40ft container for me without any problem.
