Classic Cars : Series 1, ep 7, Europa
« on: Friday,February 10, 2017, 02:27:00 AM »
This might be a repost, I can't honestly remember, but I came across this when browsing through Amazon Prime offerings.

A series of Classic Cars (Australian ?) and on episode 7 they do a black JPS Europa.  I particularly liked the "big value" engine....    no, not a mis-type, it really did have a big value engine...   :)

Available on Amazon Prime in the UK at least, otherwise no doubt it's available elsewhere on t'interweb.

Not available in all countries, at least not in Canada, sigh.

I saw it. I guess I wish I had the "big value" motor because the narrator said they fetch upwards of $50,000!

In searching for it, I looked for "classic cars". There were at least two with the same name. One of them dropped down a list of episodes. Down to episode 7 and there it is. If you missed it, you might try again. I suspect if it's there for us yanks and brits, it will be there for you, too.

Best I could find:-

1.11 - 4.52.

The car featured is a T/C or TCS, on an H reg plate (1969/70) in silver. Strange beast.

You get to see the inside of Banks workshop, but sadly not Richard.

I'm surprised Amazon don't show it over there, it's normally us Brits who are 12 months behind the curve on such things.  If I'm honest, I thought they did a better presentation on the old Impala before it, that looked a real "period piece" car. Much too big for Lincolnshire lanes though, it would be driving with one set of wheels permanently on the grass !
