Jack stands - the right way
« on: Tuesday,February 07, 2017, 03:40:53 PM »
I have spent time searching for the correct way to put the rear of the car on jack stands.

and -

Have come across many differing approaches.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to correctly put the rear of the car on jack stands?

Many thanks,

The method illustrated below works very well and is very stable.

I used 1/8" wall, 2" square tubing.  I cut one face so the chassis hoop drops right in.
