Anyone have the rear hood lift kit installed?

If you have the Banks or R.D. Ent. lift kit that has the gas springs/struts installed or at hand....I need either a part# or manufacturers name for the struts or even the dimensions, length extended/open & length closed/collapsed of the struts themselves, Thank you

I don't have the kit. I'm hoping to learn to weld and make my own from these plans: http://lotus-europa.com/manuals/misc/body/struts/hoodproject.html

I don't know, but I suspect the struts listed in this plan will work with whatever r.d. or Richard sells. It's worth checking into them, at least.
