A Ford Anglia 105E (front bumper donor !), a Mini, and what looks like a Vauxhall Cresta in the background.

Has the woman got "Locomotive Breath"?

Trying to trace that road junction on Google Earth. It is supposed to be Kempston High Street and Bedford Road, with a sign to Elstow and Woburn Sands.

I will find that junction soon. Near Milton Keynes and Bedford.

Alex in Norfolk.

Beautiful photo. Is that a Lotus 23 there? How I would love to take one of those for a scoot.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

Trevor...This is for you...a little suggestive perhaps, however I was reminded of your TC...less the extra option!

Maybe this was on the front of the car and figured she was close enough!

Cheers Lou. Is it wrong that when I look at that photograph all I can think about is the damage she might be doing to the fiberglass?  :o

Mmmm... that didn't occur to me at all! I was wondering why that never happens to my car!  :D

WOW! That's quite a set up. And I believe shoehorned is the right term; note the limited clearance between the cam sprockets and the bulkhead.

Is there no bellhousing on that Cosworth install?

Is that the flywheel & pressure plate I'm seeing?

You would be correct there is no bell housing. Amazing. Personally I'm not impressed with the install. Too crowded and not practical. But to each his own.

I do wonder how much HP this engine creates with it being turbo charged and what kind of power delivery it has (linear or big rush at a certain rpm).

Also looks like there has been some fiberglass melting due to heat from the exhaust manifold. Good luck with that........

I agree. I made sure I kept my trunk tray on my car. I don't think there's any way he could have kept his trunk tray even if he wanted to so given what he was trying to do, I think he did a nice job. I hadn't noticed that he didn't have a bell housing. That's an interesting feature. I'm not sure I would have done that - I don't like the idea of having the clutch and throw out bearing unprotected but it must have been an interesting problem to solve.
