Mike,

What's left to be done on your TCS? I thought you got your shift linkage problem fixed.

Next to nothing to get done.....sept.....that darn shifting issue.  Oh' and have the headrests shaved down...of course I wrote about that last year.   An extra two inches to two and half inches of head back will make a big difference.   I'll have the local boys do so I don't mess it up.

I know I'm prejudiced but seeing one parked next to the Esprit, I can't help but think Lotus lost their way when they moved "up-market" in the late 70s/80s. I know the Esprit is modern, faster, etc, etc, but it just looks clumsy compared to the Europa, which looks like it's doing 100 just standing still......

Cool pics Mark. The Europa is looking great. Looks like there are some nice machines there. The yellow Europa looks nice next to the red Esprit. I agree with Brian, though. I, too, have felt that the Lotus of the 'Esprit' era were somewhat of a departure from the Lotus method. Nice cars that look cool, but in the picture the size difference seems significant. Though, like Brian, perhaps I too am biased.

The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

The Europa is looking really good! The second pictures reinforces why a Europa driver has to be a very alert defensive driver!

It's looking really good! I like the color scheme. Are you going to the LOG?

Woohoo! Congrats Mecky. I must say that your Europa looks great in the side profile shot.  :beerchug:

All that clutter on the roof is going to play heck with the aerodynamics you know.  Plus all those cups will just add weight and slow you down ?  And I thought you were trying to lose weight from it.....    :)

Well done, that must have been hard work. So come on - spill the beans about the event ?

Brian

Edit to add - I see you have the tale in the other thread on racing experiences. Beating a GT40 sounds.....  8)

Hi,
brought my special this morning to the mandatory inspection (TÜV) here in Germany. After some friendly help from the automobile club, due to one sparkplug without .. spark.
At least I got my self a pair of shoes in matching color last week.

Greetings,
Uwe
