Oil pressure sender thread question
« on: Friday,November 13, 2015, 02:37:38 AM »
Hi All,

I am working through my new wiring loom from Banks (I will update my resto thread soon!!) and it includes wiring for an electrical oil pressure gauge and sender, so I think I will replace the mechanical gauge (one less thing to leak).

I need to buy a sender to screw into my Renault 807 engine - does anyone know what thread I need?

Thanks, Nick.

I actually bought a replacement Oil pressure sender unit from Banks. And apparently there are two different versions of threads and Richard has an adaptor between the two. So he sent me the adaptor and it worked out fine.

Best regards

An image displaying my old Oil pressure sender unit and its adaptor and to the left the new unit from Banks, where he had to send an adaptor for after i realized the new unit had a different thread.
